History
Interad Ltd. opened its doors in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in 1970
as a wholly U.S.-owned research & development company, dedicated
to the design and manufacture of custom communications electronics
for government and military use. Products include receivers, antennas
and switching units, upconverters and oscillators.

Location
In May 2000, Interad
moved into its new facility at the Accomack
Airport Industrial Park in Melfa, on Virginia's
Eastern Shore. The facility can be reached easily by
car via U.S. Rt. 13, or by air via the Accomack County Airport,
just across the street from Interad's facility.

Past customers have included Department

Air Warfare Center (NAWC-China Lake), Naval
Inventory Control Point (NAVICP), NATO
Maintenance & Supply Agency (NAMSA), the
Indian Air Force, and Fernau
Avionics Ltd. of the UK. Our current customers include
Argon Engineering Associates, Cubic
Worldwide Technical Services, Motorola,
Raytheon,
Southwest
Research Institute (SWRI), and Kyocera
